From the corridors of JSS 1 to the resonance of his first single, “OKAY,” his musical odyssey took flight. Yet, amidst the crescendo of success, he remains anchored in humility, guided by faith, and fueled by the fervent desire to uplift souls through his melodic narratives. 

As he pens verses and composes tunes, Elisko’s music transcends boundaries, echoing the resilience of the human spirit and the enduring power of hope.



In this interview, CrispNG.com spotlight Eliskos on his musical journey and what inspired him into music.

Crispng.com: Tell us about yourself



My name is Eli Ndace Kolo I’m an upcoming artist my stage name is ‘’Elisko’’ 

Crispng.com: What inspired you to pursue a music career?

Whizsplash inspired me; he gave me the courage to pursue my music career. 

Whizsplash was one of the top artists in Bida back then so with the way he made sweet melodies and amazing lyrics he  inspired me a lot so I started working on my melodies and lyrics. 

So that’s how I discovered my style of music and I linked up with Whizsplash and he said to me that I’m talented I should keep pushing forward and he has support my music career in the industry in so many ways he lifted me up and introduced me to some of his friends and artist in the industry so that’s how i got discovered

Crispng.com: Can you share a bit about your musical background and how it has influenced your style?

Actually I started doing music when I was in JSS 1

but back then I didn’t take it serious so when I got into JSS 2 that was 2017 I had a friend he was a rapper so he influenced me to focus on doing music so we started doing freestyles cuz we couldn’t afford the money for studio sessions so 2019 I recorded my first single titled ‘’OKAY’’ and a lot of my friends was like bro you’re good keep it up so that’s how I start and  I have an idea that I want to try out many different styles

Crispng.com: What themes or messages do you aim to convey through your music?

The message is that in everything you’re doing don’t give up easily and always pray to God put God in front 

Crispng.com: Could you describe your creative process when writing songs?

I write songs based on my experience my creative process for songwriting begins with a spark of inspiration, which comes from many different sources.Once I have an idea, begin to flesh it out with melody, lyrics, and chords.

Are there any particular artists or genres that have had a significant impact on your music.

Crispng.com: How do you envision your music evolving or growing in the future?

I can’t answer it yet but I believe God knows what’s best for me.

Crispng.com: What challenges have you faced in your journey as a music artist, and how have you overcome them?

Actually I faced a lot of challenges especially when it comes to promotion and studio bills sometimes I have to lend money, for me to record and promote my music 

Crispng.com: Can you tell us about upcoming projects or collaborations that you’re excited about?

My upcoming projects will be something different when I said something different I mean it will be interesting and great you’re going to love it 

Crispng.com: What advice would you give to other aspiring musicians just starting in the industry?

My advice is that they shouldn’t give up easily and they shouldn’t let what people said about their music make them feel bad cuz not everyone will love your music and again sometimes they should seek advice from others artists or friends about their music and they should take correction

Crispng.com: What is your biggest fear in the music industry?

My biggest fear is underperformance, embarrassment and rejection. Those are my biggest fears.
