Crispng.com: Tell us about yourself 

I’m Sarafadeen Jamiu Babatunde which everyone knows as JayBee. I’m a singer and songwriter. from Osun state. I was born 19th November 2004 and I discovered my music career at a young age.

Crispng.com: What inspired you to pursue a music career? 

To be sincere. Olamide inspired me and my brother because he was a DJ. so I listen to music all the time. I think everything started from there.

Crispng.com: Can you share a bit about your musical background and how it has influenced your style? 

It wasn’t easy but I’m just pushing it which I know one day it will lead me to somewhere. I work on myself everyday even if people downgrade or mock me. from my hard work I met bidwiz (Fatboy yegi). 

This man has been doing great and he gives me advice and help in working on my songs before I got connected to Whizsplash through blinks and since then we’ve been doing amazing.

Crispng.com: Could you describe your creative process when writing songs? 

I love studio vibes mostly because when I write in the studio there are these particular sounds or vibes the studio brings out. But normally I work on a lot of bea ts alone and sometimes with my gees.

Crispng.com: Are there any particular artists or genres that have had a significant impact on your music?

Olamide has been a mentor. I looked up to him. his music genres his hip-hop but my style of music has been classified as afro-sound. also hip-hop.

Crispng.com: How do you envision your music evolving or growing in the future?

I will be doing great and I will be at that position I have been wishing to be.

Crispng.com: What challenges have you faced in your journey as a music artist, and how have you overcome them? 

A lot of challenges have been faced. the thing is that I believe one day I will overcome all the shii I’m going through.. but I gahz to keep it up and never give up, also never let negative words overcome me. anytime I soba. I kill my pains with music.

Crispng.com: Could you highlight a significant moment or experience that has shaped you as an artist? 

I Have been invited to many shows but there’s these two particular shows that I went to that make me feel special and believe in myself that Jay One day you will get there… keep moving.

Crispng.com: Can you share your past projects? 

Although I have been releasing singles before I met Whizsplash but when I met him that’s when I started going into music deeply. I released Cruise which gives me motion, followed by Holiday and On God. I also got two features from Whizsplash, Necessary and blessings and started my waving with a track titled Level up with my new release that was dropped this year Feb 6th, WORRIED is out now worldwide… stream Massively.

Crispng.com: Can You tell us about your upcoming projects or collaborations that you’re excited about? 

I will be coming with an EP soon… I want all my fans to stay tuned and enjoy the project because I will be able to express myself.

Crispng.com: What advice would you give to other aspiring musicians just starting in the industry?

I will advise them to keep moving and keep doing what they believe in. one day it will surely be.

Crispng.com: What is your biggest fear in the music industry?

I’m not that scared because I believe everything will come easily without stress.
