Nigeria confirms 14 new cases of COVID-19 — toll now 288

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday night confirmed 14 new cases of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
Out of the 14 cases reported, 13 was recorded in Lagos while 1 was confirmed in Delta state.
“Fourteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 13 in Lagos and 1 in Delta State,” the centre reported
This brings the total number of cases in Nigeria to 288.
51 persons out of this number have been confirmed free of the virus and the country has recorded 7 deaths.
“As at 09:30 pm 9th April there are 288 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Fifty-one have been discharged with seven deaths,” NCDC added.
Lagos now has a total of 158 cases, almost three times the number of Abuja which is at 54, followed by Osun 20.
