Haaland, Saka, Palmer… Full list of EPL young player of the season award nominees
The Premier league young player award is a special recognition given to the most outstanding player in the league below the age of 23 years old before the start of the season in question.
Since the 2020–21 season, it has been referred to as the Hublot Young Player of the Season for sponsorship purposes. The award started in 2019/2020 and the inaugural winner was Trent-Alexander-Arnold.
This season, eight players have been nominated for the 2023/24 Hublot Young Player of the Season award which the nominees were announced on Thursday morning.
Phil Foden of Manchester City and Cole Palmer of Chelsea, are leading candidates for the award which also includes six additional players.
The other six nominees are Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and William Saliba, Destiny Udogie, another North London star who represents Tottenham after an outstanding first season in the Premier League, Kobbie Mainoo of Manchester United and Foden’s City teammate Erling Haaland, who is hoping to hold onto the award he won last season.

Foden has previously won the award twice, in 2020–2021 and 2021–2022, and Udogie is the first Tottenham player to receive a nomination for the prestigious award.
The winner will be announced on 18th May after the voting ends on 13th may, 2024.
