Federal Civil Service opens portal:Here’s how to apply for 2025 recruitment

Applications are currently ongoing for various positions within the Federal Civil Service. The announcement was made by the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) on Monday 27th January 2025 by the Commission’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Taiwo Hassan. It invites all eligible citizens to apply for its vacant position both the able and the disabled.

The statement says, “The Federal Civil Service Commission is receiving applications for various vacancies in the Federal Civil Service. The vacancy announcement is published on the commission’s website: www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng and in national newspapers. Applicants who are physically challenged should state the nature of their disability.”

Go to Portal
Visit the FCSC’s recruitment portal: https://recruitment.fedcivilservice.gov.ng.
Check available vacancies
Check through the list of available positions to identify roles that match your qualifications and interests.
Create your account
You would be required to create an account if you’re a new user. You can do this by providing your email address and selecting a password on the portal. But, if you are a returning user, just simply log in with your existing username and password.
Fill out the application form on the portal
Ensure you accurately fill in the form for all required fields.
Documents required
You would be required to upload the following documents as an eligible applicant:
i. Curriculum Vitae
ii. Ph.D/Master’s Degree Certificate
iii. Degree/HND/NCE Certificate
iv. WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Certificate
v. Primary School Certificate
vi. NYSC discharge/exemption/exclusion certificate
vii. Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
viii. Local Government Identification
ix. Recent Passport photograph
Submission and confirmation
Submit your application when you are done filling in the form. Ensure you receive a confirmation feedback at the end of your submission before you log out. Else, you might have to start again.
The application uses a Single application
Remember that as an eligible applicant, you are to apply for only one position.
Special consideration
Vacancies are for everyone including candidates with physical disabilities. Just indicate the nature of your disability during the application process.
Deadline
All applications are to be submitted on or before Monday, 10th March, 2025
