Euro 2024: Yamal, Saliba make UEFA team of the tournament… see full list
The UEFA EURO 2024 tournament has come to a close, and what a spectacle it was! After a thrilling month of football, the official Team of the Season has been announced by UEFA, featuring a diverse and talented group of players.
The team released on Tuesday features six players from champion Spain, as well as two from France, one from England, Germany, and Switzerland each.
The squad includes midfielders Rodri, Dani Olmo, and Fabian Ruiz, along with three other players from La Roja: Nico Williams, Lamine Yamal, and Marc Cucurella.
The defense features England’s Kyle Walker, Switzerland’s Manuel Akanji, France’s William Saliba, and French goalkeeper Mike Maignan. Meanwhile, Germany’s Jamal Musiala, is the only player from the host nation to make the cut.

This team of the Season represents the best of the UEFA EURO 2024 tournament, showcasing a mix of experienced veterans and rising stars and was selected by the 12 technical observers which includes Fabio Capello, Ioan Lupescu, Michael O’Neill, David Moyes, Aljoša Asanović, Rafael Benítez, Avram Grant, Packie Bonner, Frank de Boer, Ole Gunnar Solskjær, Aitor Karanka, Jean-Francois Domergue.
