Jumia has commenced its 2026 Black Friday sales in Nigeria, offering shoppers discounts on selected products, mystery boxes, shopping vouchers and other promotional deals throughout November.
The campaign, which began on Friday, October 30, will run until November 30, giving customers one month to purchase electronics, household appliances, fashion items and other products at reduced prices.
The e-commerce company is also introducing several promotional activities during the period, including limited-time discounts, brand-specific offers and competitions that allow customers to win products and shopping vouchers.
According to information released by Jumia, some of the promotions will be available exclusively through its mobile application, while others will require customers to follow its social media platforms.

1. Explosion Fridays offer limited-time discounts
One of the major attractions of the campaign is Explosion Fridays.
Every Friday during the promotional period, customers will have access to exclusive deals on selected products through the Jumia application.
Some of the discounts will be automatically applied at checkout, starting from midnight. However, the offers will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
The company will also introduce flash sales on selected products throughout the day.
2. Mystery boxes offer products at 99% discounts
Jumia is also introducing a scavenger hunt that allows customers to search for discounted mystery boxes hidden within its application.
The company says it will hide 200 mystery boxes containing premium products on the app daily.
Customers who find the boxes can purchase the items at a 99% discount. However, each customer will be limited to three successful wins throughout the campaign.
3. Shoppers can grab 10 premium products daily
Another promotion is the Grab It Challenge, which will take place every day at 7 pm between October 30 and November 30.
During the activity, 10 high-demand products will be made available for customers to purchase.
However, the products will be limited in quantity and awarded to customers who complete their purchases first.
4. Brand promotions and voucher drops
Customers can also expect special offers from selected brands during the campaign.
Some of the brands participating in the promotional activities include Nivea, Skyrun and Xiaomi.
Additionally, Jumia will release 100% discount voucher codes at different times through its official X account.
The vouchers will be available to customers who see and redeem the codes before they are exhausted.
5. Customers can win free shopping vouchers
Jumia is also organising a 60-second shopping challenge on TikTok.
The challenge requires participants to select their favourite products on the platform and complete their shopping within 60 seconds during a live session.
Successful participants stand a chance of receiving a 100% discount shopping voucher, meaning Jumia will cover their shopping bills under the promotion.
