Harvester Church’s Pastor Bolaji Idowu arrested? Here’s all to know

Pastor Bolaji Idowu, the lead pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center was arrested over an alleged 1.5 billion naira fraud by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID).

Pastor Idowu is the covenor of “The Next Level Prayer Conference”
His Church, the Harvesters International Christian Center was establish in December 2023.

The church which started as a small gathering of devotees has grown greatly with several branches in Nigeria.

The church also attained a global status when it’s branch in United States of America and United Kingdom got established. Since then, the church has Ben thriving, impacting lives and building members spiritually.

However, on late Tuesday evening the FCID took him up. According to them, some amount of money from a money laundering transaction related to real estate was traced to his account warranting his arrest and detention.

Reports has it that Pastor Idowu has been released after few hours of detention.

According to Sahara Reporters, “Pastor Bolaji was released late into the evening after big pastors and President Tinubu’s Aso Villa intervened.”

The pastor however broke his silence over the alleged involvement in money laundering on his Wednesday Next Level Prayer Conference.

He says “Over the last 24 hours, there has been a lot of news about me on social media. I just want to state some facts,” he said. “I heard that I was involved in real estate. Firstly, I do not have any property in Nigeria. The only property I have in Nigeria is one everyone know. Secondly, I do not sell or buy properties. I am not in that business.”

He also took to his social media to celebrate saying “GRACE! GRACE!!, GRACE!!! THIS IS OUR STORY” after his release from detention.
