Europa League semi-finals: See qualified teams, fixtures and dates
The Europa League semi-finalists is now confirmed after the 2nd leg of quarter final.
West Ham was eliminated after being thoroughly outclassed by Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen who recently ended Bayern Munich’s reign as champions for over a decade by winning Bundesliga with games to spare.
Liverpool was the favourite to win the competition, but they lost 3-1 on aggregate to Atalanta after losing 3-0 at Anfield in a surprising first-leg match.
As a result, Roma, who defeated AC Milan 2-1 on the Thursday and 3-1 on aggregate, will play Leverkusen. A semifinal showdown against Marseille who defeated Benfica in a penalty shootout and a possible spot in the Dublin final on May 22 are the rewards for Atalanta for eliminating the favourites from the competition.

When will the Europa League semi-finals take place?
The first leg of the UEFA Europa League semi-finals will take place on May 2, 2024, and the second leg will take place on May 9, 2024.
The final of 2023-24 UEFA Europa League will be in Dublin on 22nd May.
