Owowoh Princess Oluchukwu: Meet UK first Nigerian female graduate from Royal Military Academy

Officer Cadet Owowoh Princess Oluchukwu has made history as the first Nigerian female officer to graduate from the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) in the UK. At the Sovereign’s Parade in London, she joined 134 other Officer Cadets from Commissioning Course 232 in completing 44 weeks of rigorous training. 

Representing Nigeria, she expressed gratitude for the support of her family, mentors, and instructors, vowing to uphold her commitment to her country and global service. This milestone reflects the enduring partnership between the UK and Nigeria in military education, as reaffirmed in recent discussions. 

Princess’ journey began at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in 2018, where she excelled academically and broke barriers as one of the first female Company Senior Under Officers. Her achievements highlight the dedication to fostering cooperation between the two nations.
