Banky W: Frustration pushed me into politics

Olubankole Wellington, a Nigerian actor and singer popularly known as Banky W, says frustration with the situation of things in the country got him into politics.
Banky W stated this in a recent interview while reflecting on his political career.
He said: “I think frustration with the status quo or plight of young Nigerians got me into politics. God blessed my parents, I don’t come from elite background. I come from a regular Nigerian home.
The most young Nigerians dreams today is one in which you survive Nigeria long enough to escape it. It’s no longer just to thrive, it’s just about survival and for me,it’s a thing of frustration”
