2023: Don’t come out if you won’t vote for Peter Obi — gunwielding man threatens (watch video)
A video of an man threatening to attack anyone who did not vote for Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), in 2023 has surfaced online.
In the now-viral video, the unidentified man declared that he would go after anyone seen casting their votes for either Bola Tinubu or Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) respectively.
“Observe, observe am, you dey observe am? I go reach polling units, I go see men dey vote wetin them dey call am, Atiku or Tinubu, una go understand. If you know say you no go vote Peter Obi, no come out, shebi you dey see am? We dey vex,” he said.
The development comes amid growing criticisms of Obi’s supporters over alleged attempt to silence dissenting voices.
