Revealed: All Super Eagles’ Jersey number for AFCON
The CAF (Confederation of African Football) has on Saturday revealed the jersey numbers of the 25-man Super Eagles of Nigeria squad for the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.
Francis Uzoho, will wear the number 1 jersey while Victor Osimhen will take over number 9 from Odion Ighalo who wore the number in Nigeria’s last AFCON outing.
Captain Ahmed Musa ofcourse retained his trademark number 7 Jersey while Alhassan Yusuf Abdullahi, who replaced the injured Wilfred Ndidi, inherited his number 4 jersey.
Other members of the Super Eagles that retained their jerseys from last AFCON include Ola Aina, 2, William Paul Ekong, 5, Joe Aribo, 10, Kelechi Iheanacho, 14, Moses Simon, 15 and Kenneth Omeruo 22. Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface, will wear jersey number 24.
