It was because the U.S. has strong regulatory authorities that Binance was made to pay a $4.3 billion fine in America. Binance cannot profit in finance at Nigeria’s expense.
We cannot have a government that sits down doi ng nothing while Binance usurps the powers of the Central Bank of Nigeria and arbitrarily fixes the Naira rates. And then makes money off that. Money that ends up leaving Nigeria.
What they cannot try in America should not be tried here. And I urge the Nigerian media to be patriotic and stop sensationalising a national security matter. If Nigeria’s economy sinks, we all sink with it!
