The agency said when the charges were read to him, however, he pleaded not guilty.
Following his plea, Ramon Oshodi, the presiding judge, granted him bail to the tune of N20 million bond and two sureties in like sum.
The judge held that one of the sureties must own properties in Lagos state and also directed the cleric to submit his international passport to the court.
Oshodi also ordered an accelerated hearing of the case and directed for him to be remanded until he fulfils the bail conditions.
The judge thereafter adjourned the case to May 9 for trial.
Babjide Boye, the lead prosecution counsel for Lagos, had earlier asked the court to reject the defendant’s bail application.
Daniels has been in the news for the alleged rape of an assistant pastor of the church and another lady.
The cleric is the founder of iReign Christian Ministry, Ikota in the Lekki axis of the state.
