Mbappe’s potential destinations: Madrid, United or Saudi Super League?
Kylian Mbappé is one of the best players in the round leather sports. That makes his future a topic of discussion always.
However, the long-standing question of whether or not Mbappe will leave Paris Saint-Germain has already been answered, and with his departure quickly approaching, crispng takes a quick look at some of his likely destinations when/if he finally leaves PSG.
Given his talents, many clubs will want to have Mbappé on their team but also, many of the clubs do not have the financial strengths of landing the French star.
Here are some of his likely destinations if he leaves PSG this summer according to crispng:
A Saudi Arabian club
The Saudi Pro League is still flush with cash from the Public Investment Fund and is certain to make at least one bid for Mbappe, despite the player turning down Al-Hilal’s world record £259 million offer last summer.
While it seems improbable that Mbappé would abandon European football at 25 years of age, it should be remembered that many other elite players have been lured to the Middle East.
If Mbappé wants to be a part of an exciting project like Mikel Arteta’s, North London should be his next stop.
However, clubs like Arsenal might find it financially difficult to lure the Frenchman, but they seem to have an advantage given their relationship with his country man, Thierry Henry.
Mbappe would increase their attacking options, and like many teams in the world, they would probably be willing to build their team around his talents.
The decision to move to a team that is poised for success rather than one that has a track record of winning major titles recently wouldn’t be an easy one for the 25-year-old.
If Mbappe decides to join the Premier League, Liverpool has been suggested as his most likely destination. This is probably because the team is rebuilding and there is a clear spot available for him in the starting lineup.
For a team that hasn’t been in the running for players regarded as the best in the game, it would be an unexpectedly extravagant acquisition for Liverpool, but their success under Klopp and their financial acumen speak for themselves.
Mbappé will however want to know the next Liverpool manager before heading to the Merseyside given the fact that Jurgen Klopp has announced that he will be stepping down from the his position after this season.
Manchester United is still among the best and biggest teams in the world, despite their recent problems and the Old Trafford team is constantly in the market for the best players in the world of football.
The lacklustre performances of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho (now on loan at Borussia Dortmund) especially over the past few seasons may tempt United to try to lure Mbappe to the Red side of Manchester. Even though it is unlikely, it is possible.
Real Madrid
Kylian Mbappé has always been linked with a move to the Spanish capital right from his days at Monaco till now and it is no news that Perez still wants the world Cup winne at Real Madrid even after Mbappe’s last-minute decision to turn down an offer to sign for Spanish giants last season.
Real Madrid seems like the most possible destination for Mbappé because just like clubs dream of having him on their team, players dream of playing for the Los Blancos and they have never been afraid to break the bank to land their targets which are always the best available on the market always been good at positioning themselves as a super club and so landing the game’s biggest superstar is something they have always argued just feels right.
