Life After Abuse Foundation to Host Global Webinar on Male Domestic Violence

The Life After Abuse Foundation, a leading voice in advancing awareness, policy advocacy, and survivor support, will host a landmark global webinar on April 11, 2026, at 5:00 PM (WAT), confronting the hidden crisis of male domestic violence.
Known for its bold, evidence driven approach and commitment to underserved victim groups, the Foundation continues to shape critical conversations and drive international engagement on complex issues surrounding abuse and recovery.
This high level event will convene an exceptional panel of experts, advocates, and survivors from across the globe, bringing together multidisciplinary insight to address mental health, legal inequities, digital safety, media bias, and pathways to recovery for male victims.
The webinar will be led by Halima Layeni (Nigeria), Men’s Mental Health Specialist and CEO of Life After Abuse Foundation, whose work has positioned the organization at the forefront of advocacy for male survivors. She will be joined by a distinguished lineup including Michael Roberts (United States), domestic violence survivor and trauma informed cybercrime investigator; Larry DeMarco, LLM (United States), Founder of The Family Court Custody Bootcamp and Executive Manager at the International Council for Men and Boys; David Kernohan, LL.B, B.Soc.Sc, Founder of Mentoring Through The Maze and Men’s Grief and Identity Mentor; Hemangi Tripathi, B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) (India), Legal Practitioner and Men’s Rights Advocate; and Mark Brooks (United Kingdom), Chairman of the ManKind Initiative. The session will be moderated by Bianca Garibaldi (Ireland), a forensic psychology and intelligence specialist.
Structured across five expert led sessions, the webinar will explore the global mental health impact of domestic violence on men, survivor experiences and digital vulnerabilities, institutional and media bias, identity and grief in recovery, and systemic legal gaps affecting male victims. The event will conclude with a dynamic panel discussion and interactive question and answer session.
