- Sheik Muyideen Ajani Bello is a renowned Islamic scholar, highly respected and skilled with insightful knowlege about the Quaran
- He was born in 1940 to Alhaji Bello Ajani and Alhaja Ubaidat Bello of Areolu, Ita Olukoyi, Ibadan.
- He had his primary and secondary education at DC school Elekuro, Ibadan. He learnt Arabic and Islam at Mahdul Arabiy, from 1963 to 1967.
- As at the little age of 10, his passion for knowlege and Islamic study was pronounce. He became an eloquent speak and a peace advocate.
- He is a great teacher and mentor who has raised many students. Prominent among them is Ibadan based cleric, Sheikh Akewugbagold Taofeek.
- He is married and blessed with children. One of his sons, Alhaji Basit Olanrewaju Katibi Bello, popularly known as Aponle Anobi announced his death.
- Sheik Muyideen died on 6th December, 2024 at the age of 84
- Tinubu, Sanwo Olu and some other top Muslims leaders including the entire Muslim community are mourning his death.
- Punch online confirmed that he will be laid to rest today , Friday evening. According to them, “his grave is ready, and the burial will proceed according to Islamic tradition after Asr prayer.”
- The cause of his death is still unknown.
