‘I hope your problems are over now that he’s gone’ — Abba Kyari’s daughter tackles critics
Aisha, daughter of Abba Kyari, President Muhammadu Buhari’s late Chief of Staff, has taken a swipe at those criticizing his father even after his demise.
Kyari had passed away on April 17 after suffering complications from COVID-19, the disease caused by coronavirus – weeks after returning from an official trip to Germany and UK.
His demise, however, has been trailed with mixed reactions with many Nigerians commending his efforts to nation building while some alleged he was responsible for the nation’s woes.
Reacting to such critics in a post via her Instagram story on Monday, Aisha said such criticisms of his father ought to have stopped with his death.
“My daddy, Abba Kyari is gone. Evil ones still won’t shut up. You all claimed he was the root of your problems when he was alive, now he is gone, surely all your problems died with him,” she wrote.
She went to call out those also critical of her father’s whereabouts after he was diagnosed with COVID-19 before his eventual death including the likes of Lola Omotayo, wife of Peter Okoye.
“Allow us that love him mourn in peace. And dear Lola Omotayo and co that were so curious about his whereabouts, I hope now that you know exactly where he is, you’re sleeping better at night,” she added.
