EPL preview: Can Spurs dent City’s title chase?
Tottenham Hotspur will host Manchester City on Tuesday night as Pep Guardiola’s side look to move one step closer to winning their fourth consecutive English Premier League title and sixth in seven years. Arsenal will be hoping that their north London rivals Tottenham will grant them a huge favour in the EPL race by slowing City down.
The Cityzens have won seven straight Premier League games, scoring 28 goals in the process and conceded just 5 goals during that run. They are currently one point behind Arsenal at the top of the table.
On the other hand, Spurs have recently struggled, losing four of their last five league games. The only victory was against relegation-bound Burnley on Saturday where they won 2-1. However, It is by no means a foregone victory for a Man City victory, as Tottenham have won each of their last four Premier League home games against Guardiola’s side.
As of the time of writing this preview, Ange Postecoglou’s team is in fifth place in the league and trails Aston Villa by five points. Though mathematically, they are still very much in contention to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Can Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City make history on Tuesday night by winning their first league game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR VS MANCHESTER CITY PREDICTION:
Spurs have been finding it difficult to keep clean sheets Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since October last year and While both teams scoring goal is almost always certain in Tottenham’s Premier League home games, this time around, the visiting looks more likely to outscore.
Spurs have had a bit of a home-court advantage over City in recent years, but Guardiola’s team appears too formidable on paper, therefore it looks like Spurs should finally end their home unbeaten streak against the champions.
Prediction: 1-2 in favour of Manchester City.
