CrispNG’s Ndidiamaka Ede selected for top investigative journalism fellowship in Nigeria

Ndidiamaka Ede, a student journalist with Crisp Nigeria (CrispNG), has been selected for the 2024 edition of Nigeria Investigates Fellowship.

The Nigeria Investigates Fellowship is organised by Tiger Eye Foundation, a media non-profit founded by Anas Aremeyaw Anas, the celebrated Ghanaian journalist.

The fellowship is an annual programme which takes journalists through a rigorous exercise on investigative techniques, high-risk and hostile environment compliance, storytelling and post-production.

One of the short-term goals of the training is shaping the original pitch sent in by each successful applicant. At the end of the training, participants are provided resources to produce one story based on this updated pitch.

This year’s training, holding at Corinthia Villa Hotel in Abuja, started on April 14 and is billed to end on April 19.

Since the training ended, Ede has continued to blaze the trail.

She was earlier selected for the 2024 Empowering Women in the Media Cohort (EWMC) workshop organised by the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID).
