 Chidinma Okafor completes 72-hour crocheting marathon, awaits confirmation from GWR

Chidinma Okafor’s 72-hour longest marathon crocheting attempt for the Guinness World Record has been completed.

The crocheting attempt which started on the 24th of December reached its end at exactly 5pm on Wednesday, the 27th.

Cheers from family and friends including remarkable Nigerian actress and journalist, Taiwo Ajai-Lycett kept her going.

Chidinma’s record attempt will surpass Alessandra Hayden’s record by roughly 38 hours if she meets Guinness World Records’ standard.



A minimum of 12 weeks is required for verification and approval of the attempt by Guinness World Records.
