2024 UTME: Steps to take to reactivate your profile code
In response to queries from candidates regarding the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a directive requesting certain candidates to take action to “reactivate” their profile code.
To comply with this directive, candidates are instructed to send the command ‘RESEND’ to either 55019 or 66019, depending on the number they previously used to generate their profile code. The process of creating or reactivating the profile code is deemed straightforward as long as candidates adhere to JAMB’s guidelines.

Upon successful completion of the process, candidates should expect to receive an SMS containing their data along with the unique profile code. It is emphasized that candidates should use their personal phone numbers as JAMB will be communicating important information through the provided number.
Candidates are also advised to ensure that no special characters are included in the SMS they send. By following these instructions and sending the specified command to either 55019 or 66019, candidates can expect resolution of any issues related to their JAMB profile code.
