A Legacy as Robert Scorpio Spans Four Decades

Rogers originated the role of Robert Scorpio in 1980, becoming an enduring figure on General Hospital. He starred in over 1,400 episodes, including the iconic 1981 Luke and Laura wedding episode, still the highest-rated soap episode in U.S. television history. Although his character was “killed off” in 1992, Scorpio returned in 1995 and again in 2006, capturing fans’ hearts until his final appearance in November last year.
