Owing to the announcement in a social media video yesterday, Rafael Nadal will retire after the Davis Cup next month in Malaga, wearing Spanish colours. Often referred to as the “King of Clay,” Nadal is not just one of the greatest tennis players of all time, he is a symbol of resilience, sportsmanship, and absolute commitment to excellence. From his humble beginnings in Mallorca to his iconic status on the global stage, the 2008 and 2010 Wimbledon champion’s career is a testament to hard work and dedication.

More also, while speaking on Nadal’s retirement, Roger Federer said “What a career, Rafa! I always hoped this day would never come,”.

“Thank you for the unforgettable memories and all your incredible achievements in the game we love. It’s been an absolute honour.”
