Tammy Abraham to Beşiktaş…here we go!

The 27-year-old England striker is officially set to join Turkish giants Beşiktaş on loan from AS Roma, sealing a deal that marks a significant turn in his career. With a €2 million loan fee and an obligatory purchase clause of €13 million plus €2 million in bonuses, the total package totals around €17 million, just in time to help Roma comply with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play deadline.

Beşiktaş confirmed discussions with both Roma and Abraham via a filing to the Istanbul stock exchange (KAP), after which the striker boarded a flight to Turkey. He landed at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport around 18:00 local time, greeting supporters with a bold “He’s coming!” and his message, “Hello Black Eagles. I’m coming for you.”

This move reunites Abraham with former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær, who now helms the Turkish outfit. It sets a fresh chapter after his season-long loan at AC Milan, where he netted 10 goals in 44 matches but didn’t secure a permanent transfer.

Roma, under new coach Gian Piero Gasperini and sporting director Frederick Massara, fast-tracked Abraham’s departure, partly to balance the books and avoid sanctions. The move, reported between €15 million and €20 million depending on bonuses, delivers a vital cash injection.

Abraham’s career has been shaped by high expectations and adaptability. A Chelsea academy graduate, he impressed on loan at Aston Villa (25 goals) and Bristol City before making his mark in Serie A with Roma, 27 goals in his debut season and a UEFA Europa Conference League title.

Now, armed with experience from Italy and Premier League stints, Abraham arrives at Beşiktaş ready to take on the Süper Lig and European arenas. The club is hopeful he can replicate his earlier form, especially given his height (1.94 m), physical presence, and knack for goals.

This transfer also means Beşiktaş’s forward line reshapes significantly: Ciro Immobile’s exit becomes more likely, freeing up space for Abraham to lead the attack alongside names like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gedson Fernandes.

Fans and pundits alike are already buzzing: “Tammy Abraham to Besiktas… here we go!” signals not only hope for an elite campaign opener but also further cements Beşiktaş’s ambition to make waves across Europe. Abraham’s blend of experience, physicality, and goal-scoring instinct means the Turkish club may have just landed a marquee summer signing.
