This is good news for the Youth Corp members, as the challenge of job search after the one-year service to the fatherland will be reduced drastically.
And this also provides support to entrepreneurial Corp members who might be looking for opportunities like this to grow their business.
This partnership was made known by the Chairman of SV-NED Inc. USA/SV-NED Energy Ltd, HRH Queen Mother Amb. Amina Temitope Labinjo Ajayi, also known as “Mama Diaspora”, during a ceremony held in Abuja.
According to thenationonline, she described the partnership as a milestone aimed at empowering Nigerian youth and fostering national unity.
In her words, “The inauguration of this committee is a strategic step toward achieving national goals. The partnership aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu, as it focuses on initiatives such as the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Conversion Centre and affordable housing projects.”
They also included initiatives such as the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Conversion Centre and affordable housing project to support SMEs and economic growth.
In reaction to this development, the Director-General of NYSC, ably represented by the Director of Legal Services, expressed gratitude for the collaboration and further stated that it will benefit corp members even beyond the basic level as well as equip them with knowledge about the oil and gas sector.
