Revealed: Why I disguised as a woman, hawker helped by Brain Jotter speaks
Eniola, the physically challenged hawker who recently received assistance from Brain Jotter, a popular skit maker, has made a startling admission.
Eniola, previously believed to be a woman, has revealed that he is a man named Sultan.
The story began when Jotter encountered Eniola hawking on the streets and learned that he was not only a hawker but also a makeup artist. Touched by his situation, Jotter decided to help by transferring N400,000 to Eniola to support his makeup business.
However, within just 24 hours, a blogger claimed that Eniola was, in reality, a man who dressed as a woman to deceive people into giving him money. Jotter responded to this revelation with a simple statement, saying, “Bro deceived us all.”
In an interview with TheCable, Eniola confirmed that he is indeed a man.
He revealed that he had been acting as a woman due to his desperate need for assistance, citing a troubled past with an abusive family.
“Yes, it is true. My name is Eniola, my parents gave me Sultan and I am a guy. The reason why I am behaving like a girl is because of help,” he said.
Eniola explained that he endured a difficult childhood filled with abuse from his family, despite being born with a disability. He recounted how his mother disowned him, and he was forced to fend for himself by making and selling beads in a beer parlor. He eventually decided to learn makeup in Osun as a more sustainable business.

Eniola further shared that he began dressing as a woman as a way to disguise his identity from his abusive family. He also recounted an incident where a client refused to pay him because he was dressed as a man, prompting him to continue dressing as a woman to find success in his makeup business.
