Priscilla Ojo alleges arson attack on mum’s office over her wedding

Priscilla Ojo

Influencer and actress Priscilla Ojo has shaken social media with allegations that her mother’s office was deliberately set on fire as a form of retaliation for her May 2025 wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. The shocking claim alleged that the arson attack was “Plan B” from a group that failed to disrupt her wedding.

Threat Letter Delivered Before the Blaze

According to Priscilla, a threatening note was delivered to her mother, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, on May 24, 2025, weeks before the alleged arson attack on July 8.

The letter, signed by a group calling itself the “Aggrieved Group,” warned: “You can’t escape in the next 3 months… We shall render that your daughter married useless … Watch and see.”

Fire Destroyed Office on July 8

Priscilla reported that the office building was engulfed in flames on July 8. By that time, Iyabo Ojo had already traveled to Tanzania for Priscilla’s wedding and only became aware of the incident after her return. The influencer believes the fire was a malicious act, an escalation from the earlier threats.

Priscilla stated: “That unfortunate incident…is their PLAN B as their plans to ruin JP2025 failed woefully!”

Alleges Targeted Attack, Not Accident

Rejecting any notion of coincidence, Priscilla emphasised that the blaze was deliberate. She described it as a “targeted attack” linked to her wedding, not an electrical fault or accident. She announced intentions to review CCTV footage to identify the arsonists and work with law enforcement to ensure accountability.

“We shall eventually detect the face of the delivery agent … even though more CCTV has been mounted both in her office and at home,” she added.

Reaction from Iyabo Ojo and Public Response

Though no official statement was released by Iyabo Ojo, reports indicate she thanked the Lagos Fire Service and her staff for minimizing damage following the incident.

Fans and followers on social media have rallied behind the family, expressing support amid outrage over the motive behind the attack.

Wedding Fête JP2025 Remains Unaffected

Priscilla clarified that the threatening letter coincided directly with the wedding she dubbed “JP2025.” That event went on as planned in May, and the celebratory atmosphere continues despite recent threats. She urged foes to accept her joy and cease their aggression.

She affirmed, “You can’t silence my mother with all these threats and criminal acts. God is stronger than any evil, and time will surely tell!”

Authorities Alerted, Investigation Underway

Priscilla confirmed they have reached out to the Nigerian Police and Lagos Fire Service, urging a full inquiry into the arson. She urged the public to watch out for any evidence captured on CCTV that might point to the culprits.

The family insists that the act was personal, tied directly to her high-profile wedding, and not a random act of vandalism or accident unrelated to the threats.

What Comes Next?

The spotlight is now on law enforcement agencies to launch a comprehensive investigation. Priscilla and Iyabo have appealed to authorities and the public to support them in uncovering who is responsible for what they believe was calculated sabotage.

With CCTV logs in place, the next step is for the police to track leads and for Priscilla to share findings transparently, so justice, not intimidation, prevails in this case.

Priscilla Ojo’s explosive allegations have turned a family-loved wedding celebration into a grave matter of personal security. The claim that her mother’s office was set ablaze as retaliation shines a stark light on how social drama can spiral into real-world danger. The coming days will reveal whether authorities can unmask the influencers of this disturbing incident.
