Pastor Ituah Ighodalo opens up on remarriage plans: “Time heals” (video)

Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the founder of Trinity House Church, has candidly spoken about the possibility of finding love again, years after the tragic loss of his wife, Ibidun Ighodalo. In a heartfelt interview on Nigeria Info 99.3FM, the renowned clergy revealed how time and faith have helped him gradually heal from the pain of his wife’s death and consider remarriage.

Ibidun, a beloved public figure and humanitarian, passed away unexpectedly while on an official assignment in Port Harcourt. Her death left Pastor Ighodalo and their two children devastated. Speaking on the emotional journey he has undergone since then, he said, “When Ibidun died, I thought it was impossible. Like I said then, I had given her everything, all the love I could give. However, time heals everything, and time compensates.”

While acknowledging the mounting pressure from friends, family, and well-wishers urging him to remarry, Pastor Ighodalo stressed that he is not moved by external voices. “A lot of people are putting me under pressure, but I am not listening to them. I am listening to my heart, and my heart says that it is possible,” he said.

When asked whether there is currently someone special in his life, the pastor responded with humour and honesty. “I cannot say there is someone at the corner. I’ve been down that road many times. I am believing God and focusing on Him. It has not been an easy decision. There are many things to consider,” he explained.

Pastor Ighodalo also addressed earlier rumours linking him romantically with actress Kate Henshaw, clarifying that no such relationship exists. He reiterated his focus remains on serving God and allowing divine guidance in any decision regarding remarriage.

As he continues to navigate life, faith, and fatherhood, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo’s openness offers comfort to many who have experienced loss and are seeking the courage to embrace new beginnings.
