Panic at Stockton University: Woman shot, campus shut — who’s the arrested suspect?

Panic at Stockton University: Woman Shot, Campus on Lockdown as Suspect Captured Near Galloway Township
A man was taken into custody Thursday afternoon following a shooting near Stockton University in Galloway Township, New Jersey, that temporarily forced the campus into lockdown.
Authorities said the suspect was located in a nearby housing complex and arrested without resistance. Police had ordered students and staff to shelter in place as investigators secured the area, but the restriction was lifted once the immediate threat was contained.
The Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a woman sustained a gunshot wound to the face during the incident. She was transported to a hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
The university’s emergency alert system issued a campus-wide warning just after 1 p.m., urging everyone to stay indoors and avoid exiting buildings until an all-clear was given. The alert followed reports of gunfire along West Jimmie Leeds Road, close to Redwood Avenue and near the main entrance of the university. Police said the shooting occurred at approximately 12:52 p.m.
Classes and on-campus activities were canceled for the remainder of the day as a precaution, with dining services scheduled to reopen in the evening. Shuttle services are also set to resume later Thursday, while the university confirmed that a normal schedule will return on Friday.
