TV presenter and singer Myleene Klass has described the “sheer terror” she felt after learning that an alleged stalker had sent her a gun and a series of disturbing parcels.
Giving evidence at Birmingham Crown Court, Klass said she was informed by police that an air pistol addressed to her had been intercepted by Royal Mail. She told jurors that the discovery left her “extremely shocked” and made the threat feel “suddenly very real.”
The accused, Peter Windsor, 61, is charged with stalking Klass and her Classic FM colleague Katie Breathwick between 2020 and 2024. He denies both charges.
Disturbing Parcels and Messages
According to prosecutors, Windsor allegedly sent Klass and Breathwick bizarre and unwanted gifts including handcuffs, fancy dress outfits, a police uniform, jewellery, and letters with unsettling religious and sexual references.
One note reportedly called Klass a “naughty vixen,” while another suggested he wanted to go paddling in a lake with both women while drinking champagne.
Security staff at Classic FM initially withheld details of the parcels to avoid alarming Klass, but she was eventually shown lists and photos of the items. “Contextually, when you put the handcuffs, the police uniform, and the gun together, the picture is bleak,” Klass said in court.

Police Investigation and Arrest
The court heard that Windsor was arrested in September 2024 after police discovered maps of London, binoculars, black gloves, and stockings at his Birmingham home.
He reportedly told police that the parcels, including the air pistol, were sent “as a joke.” Windsor, who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, claims his actions were misunderstood and insists he never intended to frighten Klass or Breathwick.
Myleene Klass: “It Felt Extremely Real”
Klass, 47, told the jury that when officers explained the gun could be fatal at close range, her fear deepened. “It’s a gun in a box with my name on it,” she said, calling it a “huge violation.”
She added that the disturbing nature of the packages ranged from “personal to threatening” and left her deeply unsettled.
The Trial Continues
Windsor denies two counts of stalking causing serious alarm or distress. The trial will include psychiatric evidence, with the defence suggesting Windsor’s mental health condition affected his actions.
For Klass and Breathwick, the case has already highlighted the devastating emotional impact of stalking on public figures, leaving both women fearful for their safety.
