Meet Tolulope Ekundayo, 19-year-old girl who graduated with a first class from Adeleke University
Tolulope Ekundayo, a 19-year-old from Adeleke University, has achieved a remarkable academic milestone by graduating with First Class honors in Accounting.
Enrolling at the university at just 15, Tolulope has impressed many with her dedication and exceptional performance as she graduated with a cpga of 4.89, having had 5.0 gpa 6 times.
Ekundayo shared her achievements in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), celebrating her graduation and the multiple awards she received. “A first class graduate at 19! BSc Accounting, yeah I did that,” she posted, accompanied by photos of her accolades.
Despite her success, Tolulope is seeking further educational support to pursue a master’s degree abroad. She has reached out to Nigerian artist Davido, requesting his assistance with a scholarship. In her appeal, she wrote, “Please help me tag Davido. He should give me a gift for graduating with First Class from his daddy’s school.” She emphasized her hard work and dedication, stating, “I worked really hard for this first class! Had a 5.0 GPA 6 out of times! Finished my ATS exams at 17!”

Tolulope also expressed her desire for a scholarship and a position at a reputable accounting firm during her NYSC service. “I am looking for scholarship opportunities to do my master’s abroad and a very good accounting firm to work during my NYSC service,” she said.
Adeleke University, where Tolulope completed her studies, was founded in 2011 by Adedeji Adeleke, Davido’s father. The institution has a reputation for nurturing young talents, and Tolulope’s achievements reflect the high standards of its academic programs.
