Kano Pillars’ star, Udoji dies in ghastly car crash

Kano Pillars Football Club has confirmed the death of its center back, Chinedu Udoji, after involving in a ghastly car crash on Monday morning.

“Chinedu Udoji was involved in a car accident yesterday after visiting his former teammates at Enyimba,” the club tweeted.

“This tragic accident happened along Club Road in Kano. Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, fans, and football lovers all across the country.

The centre-back, captained Enyimba to win the 2014 Federation Cup and 2015 Nigeria Professional Football League titles.

He is is survived by his parents, wife and two little children.
