Mike Ejeagha, often called “Gentleman,” is a well-known figure in Highlife music. Born on April 4, 1930, in Imezi Owa, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Ejeagha has been sharing his wisdom through music for decades. His songs, mostly in Igbo, are filled with traditional sayings and life lessons that many Nigerians grew up with.

The dance involves participants facing opposite directions, walking towards each other, performing a funny leg dance, and then chasing each other to the chorus.

Brain Jotter’s first Instagram clip of the dance, shared on July 5, garnered nearly one million likes by July 21. On TikTok, similar videos have been viewed massively, with over a thousand recreations, including many by Nigerian celebrities like Kanayo O. Kanayo.
