CAC unveils new service fees starting August 1… here’s all to know

CAC speaks on new service fees.

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced that it will introduce new service fees effective from August 1, 2025. This development was revealed in a public notice issued by the Commission and published on its official platforms. According to the notice, the review of fees became necessary due to rising operational costs, current economic realities, and the need to enhance service delivery across all CAC platforms.

The Commission explained that the new charges were introduced after extensive consultation with stakeholders and are part of a broader strategy to sustain its operations, improve efficiency, and maintain a competitive edge. It assured the public that the revised fees are modest and reflect a balance between affordability and the need to maintain high service standards.

The CAC also noted that the changes support its commitment to delivering services through advanced technology and digital platforms. This move is in line with its ongoing reforms to make business registration and post-incorporation services faster, more transparent, and user-friendly.

A full list of the revised service fees will be made available on the CAC’s website ahead of the implementation date.
