Nigeria’s Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, has highlighted programmes by President Bola Tinubu’s administration aimed at supporting the country’s youth.

In a video shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account on August 14, Idris encouraged young Nigerians to take advantage of programs like the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF), Skill-Up Artisans (SUPA), and the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) program.

Similarly, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) shared information on “Key FG initiatives” and the websites to register for them, urging Nigerians to apply and benefit from the government’s efforts to address economic challenges, especially for the youth.

Here’s a close look at 10 key programs currently available for students and young entrepreneurs in Nigeria:

This scheme provides loans to Nigerian students for tuition, fees, and living expenses during their studies at approved tertiary institutions. With 108 state institutions now participating, the program has recently expanded, including a monthly stipend of N20,000 for over 20,000 students across six institutions, attracting growing interest nationwide.
