Apple Watch Ultra 3, Series 11, and Watch SE 3 launched: Price, features, specs, where to get them
At its much-anticipated “Awe Dropping” event on Wednesday, Apple unveiled not one but three new additions to its smartwatch family: the Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch SE 3, and Apple Watch Series 11. Each model brings its own personality to the table, but together they underline Apple’s push to redefine health, fitness, and connectivity on the wrist. Global availability begins September 19 across more than 50 regions, including the U.S., U.K., India, Japan, the EU, and the UAE.
Apple Watch Ultra 3: The Adventurer’s Dream
The Ultra 3 takes boldness to the extreme. With the largest display ever fitted on an Apple Watch—powered by LTPO3 wide-angle OLED tech—it offers crystal clarity for athletes, divers, and explorers. Battery life stretches to 42 hours, and when switched to Low Power Mode, users can squeeze out up to 72 hours.
But its defining feature is two-way satellite communication. Whether you’re lost in the mountains or out at sea, the watch can send SOS alerts, share your location, and even keep you connected when no network is in sight. Fitness enthusiasts get advanced tracking across running, cycling, golf, diving, and hiking, while new hypertension notifications and a Sleep Score system bring health monitoring to the next level. With natural and black titanium options, the Ultra 3 comes in at $799 (US).
Apple Watch SE 3: Everyday Power, Reimagined
For those who want a balance of affordability and innovation, the SE 3 shines. It introduces the S10 chip for faster, more efficient performance and adds an Always-On display—a first for the SE lineup. Fast charging and 5G connectivity keep it future-ready, while the new Ion-X glass makes it four times tougher against cracks.
Health tools include retrospective ovulation tracking, wrist temperature sensing, and sleep apnea notifications. Gesture controls like double-tap and wrist flick make navigation playful yet practical. Available in 40mm and 44mm aluminum cases with midnight and starlight finishes, prices start at $249 (US).
Apple Watch Series 11: Slim, Sleek, and Smarter
The Series 11 takes refinement seriously with a slimmer frame, redesigned 5G antenna, and battery life that lasts a full 24 hours. Aluminium models use Ion-X glass, while titanium editions feature premium sapphire crystal.
Like the Ultra, it comes with hypertension alerts, Sleep Score, ECG, blood oxygen, and cycle tracking. Powered by watchOS 26, users get a fresh Liquid Glass interface, new watch faces such as Flow and Exactograph, and expanded gesture navigation. The Series 11 begins at $399 (US), with price variations depending on case size and material.
watchOS 26: The Common Thread
All three models debut with watchOS 26, Apple’s most ambitious smartwatch OS yet. Highlights include:
-
Live Translation for instant cross-language communication
-
Smarter Smart Stack widgets
-
A refreshed watch face gallery
-
Deep integration with Apple Intelligence, which powers Workout Buddy, Messages, and more
In true Apple fashion, sustainability is also a focus. Every model uses 100% recycled cobalt in its battery, is produced with renewable energy, and comes in fiber-based recyclable packaging.

Pre-orders are already live. On September 19, the Ultra 3, SE 3, and Series 11 will officially hit Apple Stores and authorized retailers across more than 50 countries, from the U.S. and Canada to Germany, France, India, Japan, and beyond.
