Head of Supply Chain: Role Overview

The Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end supply chain strategies that support aircraft availability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.



This position oversees procurement, warehousing, logistics, inventory planning, vendor management, and contract negotiations, ensuring uninterrupted access to aircraft parts, tools, consumables, and ground support equipment.

The role directly supports Air Peace’s Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) activities and reports to the Technical Director.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and implement cost-efficient supply chain strategies
  • Lead cross-functional teams across procurement, logistics, inventory, and contracts
  • Manage strategic sourcing with OEMs, MROs, and global suppliers
  • Prevent Aircraft on Ground (AOG) scenarios through proactive material planning
  • Oversee compliance with EASA, FAA, customs, and hazardous goods regulations
  • Establish supplier SLAs and monitor performance and risk
  • Optimize logistics networks and just-in-time delivery systems
  • Manage annual supply chain budgets
  • Ensure traceability, quality assurance, and regulatory documentation
  • Drive process improvement, mentoring, and departmental training initiatives

Qualifications and Experience Required

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in aviation technical procurement or supply chain roles
